This is a cozy little corner for book lovers, crafty souls, and anyone who loves finding joy in the little things. I’m so happy you’re here!

How It All Began

256 Craft Co started right after I graduated college, when my boyfriend gifted me a Cricut machine. I’ve always been crafty, so I started making just about everything! Around the same time, I found my way back to reading and fell in love with books all over again. Before long, my two favorite hobbies came together to create the cozy, bookish shop you see today.

What’s your favorite book right now?

Right now, I’m loving the Bound by Gravity duology (Bound by Gravity and Freed from Gravity) by Jenny Hickman.

What’s your current favorite coffee order?

An iced French Vanilla Dunkalatte. Always a good choice! 

What’s your guilty pleasure reading snack?

Any kind of ice cream! 🍦 Lately, I’ve been obsessed with my Ninja Creami and making protein shake ice cream. A little healthier, but still feels like a treat!

Your dream reading spot?

In my hammock up north in Wisconsin, tucked away in the woods or relaxing by the lake. It doesn’t get much better than that.

What’s on your TBR pile?

My ever-growing TBR currently includes Long Time Listener by B.K. Borison, the Windy City series by Liz Tomforde, The Witch by Freida McFadden, In Beds of Flowers by Jess Layne, and Songbird by Rebecca Wright.

Favorite genre?

Romantasy, always! Give me fantasy, a little romance, and a world I can get lost in. 

Most-loved bookish accessory?

My bookmark collection, of course! Can a book lover ever really have too many bookmarks? 😉

Why start this shop?

It’s the perfect creative outlet and a way to combine my love of crafting and reading. It’s also part of my bigger dream of someday being a stay-at-home mom while doing something I truly love. Every order helps me get a little closer to that dream, and I’m so grateful for it!
